Offical positions on nuclear waste and weapons issues: The GPUT will support efforts to:
- keep nuclear waste out of Utah;
- prevent nuclear waste from being transported;
- stop the resumption of nuclear testing;
- stop the manufacture of nuclear weapons.
These positions are in line with the Key Values of Social Justice and Equal Opportunity, Ecological Wisdom,
Future Focus and Sustainability, and Quality of Life.
